Where Spit Braai Pro cooks

We are based in the Northern Suburbs and cater across greater Cape Town, out through the Helderberg and into the Winelands. Travel is included inside roughly 60km of the city; beyond that we will quote it openly rather than bury it.

Catering by region

Sea Point, Green Point, Camps Bay, Gardens, Woodstock and Hout Bay. Ground-level space is the question.

What we need on site

No power is required. The spit runs on coals and, where needed, its own gas.

We do travel past the roughly 60km band — the Overberg, the Boland and up the West Coast. Travel is quoted separately on those and told to you up front rather than added afterwards.

This is a mobile catering service, so there is no shop or showroom to call at — the chef and the spit come to your venue. Durbanville is where the equipment lives and where the runs start from, which is why Northern Suburbs bookings get the earliest arrivals and the most margin on the day.
